Trudy FLF
Here she is!!! Finally, after waiting 4 years for a foal out of my special mare, Tansanita Vom Castell, she delivered the most perfect, gorgeous, and sweetest filly on June 14th at the very respectable time of 4:53 PM.
Trudy is the epitome of what I am striving for, athletic, muscular, and with a temperment an amature can handle. She is a bay without a speck of white...very pretty! She is by Wicklow, and is the only foal I have left by him on the farm. Trudy is out of my "best girl" Tansanita Vom Castell (Avignon II x Tansania). Trudy is a smaller filly, but with big movement and a BIG jump! She is athletic and a total "pocket pony". Even though she will only be a medium-sized mare when mature (she string tests to 15.2-16hh or so), she has good bone and substance.  These bloodlines grow slowly. Trudy is very pretty, with feminine features and big doe eyes. She is a nice all-around prospect. Bred to event, she is athletic, agile, and bold, yet she has wonderful movement and I can just as easily see her in the dressage ring, trail riding, of as a child's mount with her "will do" attitude. She has an incredible jump, clearing 3' with ease. Her BEST attribute is her stellar temperment. She is a people-lover through and through, and is a gem for vet, farrier, and can be handled by ANYONE, anywhere.

Below: Trudy at 2 years....she's growing like a weed. She stands almost 15hh, and is very big bodied. She has a faux dorsal stripe, and people often mistake her coloring for a dark buckskin. She is just lovely.
