Adrien
Lucky was born to be a star, and he is from proven performance bloodlines. STALLION PROSPECT here!! He has amazing natural balance and lift in his trot and canter. He was doing little, fancy pirouettes his first week! Lucky's sire, Hilton GS, stands an impressive 16.3 hands, and his dam, Ada GS is 16.1hh. Both sire and dam have impressive, "best of the breed" genetics behind them. Hilton is by Bukephalos, out of Haiti *E* (by Amiego). And Ada is by Troy (Amiego) and out of Alouette (Tannenburg x Abiza *E*). Hilton is
approved by the American Trakehner Association, and he completed his performance requirements and in 2003, he had a successful debut as a dressage stallion, being named Grand Champion at 2nd Level at the York Equestrian Centre in August. According the the Galten Farms website, he is schooling Prix St. Georges at this time.
Though Ada lacks a "performance" record per se, her undeniable value as a broodmare for the Trakehner breed has given proof to the old adage "Breed the best, and ride the rest"!  Her son, Arapaho GS is an approved stallion with the ATA, and Lucky should very well follow in those footsteps.

Lucky is a performance or stallion prospect supreme!! His youtube video (taken 4-27-08) can be seen HERE!

In June 2008 Luckye started "training" to be shown in-hand this summer. His first show appearance was at Silverwood on July 5th.

Pictured below at 2 months old...August 18, 2007. Though he is 3 weeks younger than Scooter or Huston, he is nearly as tall as Scooter, and very muscular. He is pictured below with his dam, who stands 16hh. He has an amazing "drive from behind", and is powerful.

Video below at 3 months old. Lucky is almost completely dark bay now, with a sprinkling of silver on his flank. We are not sure if he's greying out or if it is sabino-related roaning. Time will tell. One thing is for certain...Lucky is GORGEOUS!

Lucky is showing well, and he is very, very good for his handler. We should have video available shortly of both his first and third shows (Silverwood and Huntermark). He is a big, handsome colt. His movement is amazing.
And Lucky at home August 24th, 2008. He is sporting his new ATA brand now, along with a good dose of "growing yearling" downhill conformation.....that'll change.
