Argent Moon
Argent Moon (formerly Adrien FLF or "Lucky") was born to be a star, and he is from proven performance bloodlines. He has amazing natural balance and lift in his trot and canter. He was doing little, fancy pirouettes his first week!
He stands 16.1+hh, and is fabulous under saddle. He had what I was told was "one of the best under saddle phases" one of the inspectors at his recent American Trakehner Association inspections had EVER seen. He has unlimited potential with his beautiful trot, lovely walk, and superb canter. I believe he could be an upper level dressage prospect, and his new owner was told she should be consider taking him to young event horse finals. However, her plans for him lead him in the direction of hunters or showjumping.  His sire, Hilton GS, stands an impressive 16.3 hands, and his dam, Ada GS is 16.1hh. Both sire and dam have impressive, "best of the breed" genetics behind them. Hilton is by Bukephalos, out of Haiti *E* (by Amiego). And Ada is by Troy (Amiego) and out of Alouette (Tannenburg x Abiza *E*). Hilton is approved by the American Trakehner Association, and he completed his performance requirements and in 2003, he had a successful debut as a dressage stallion, being named Grand Champion at 2nd Level at the York Equestrian Centre in August. According the the Galten Farms website, he is schooling Prix St. Georges at this time. Though his dam lacks a "performance" record per se, her undeniable value as a broodmare for the Trakehner breed has given proof to the old adage "Breed the best, and ride the rest"!  Her son, Arapaho GS is an approved stallion with the ATA, and Argent Moon FLF should very well follow in those footsteps.
Shown in hand as a yearling, he has maintained a regular training schedule, while at the same time being allowed to be a HORSE. He has several mares confirmed in-foal for 2011 (the babies are HERE!!), and he lives just as easily in his herd as he does in a stall. He trailers with ease, and is a joy to have around. He has been sold to Wind Haven Farm in Zionsville, IN and is currently in training for hunters, and he is now APPROVED for breeding by the American trakehner Association with a very impressive score of 63!
